RPM storageI have reorganied the storage and you can contact my home system to get the latest from my RPM archives. Downloading actual packages requires a username and a password to stop those crazy webbots from swamping my system. But for the human netizens it is listed below.
Over 800 MB of files is now indexed through rpm2html and contains mainly Red Hat Linux 8.0 and Fedora Core 1 packages. Be a nice netizen and do not use a download accelerator and do not download multiple files at the same time. If humans start to swamp me as well I may need to revoke public access.
Now get to the RPM archives and see if the package you need is there. (Or wait 60 seconds to go there automagicaly.)
If a package is not build for your (favorite) distribution I suggest you download the .src.rpm file and rebuild it yourself with:
`
rpmbuild --rebuild foobar.src.rpm
`
(Where foobar is the actual name of the package you want.) Need more help? Go to www.rpm.org! Hugo |
